At Protective Care Group, we reward people for referring and recommending someone who becomes a new employee. We believe that good people know other good people.

What’s a referral?
A referral is when you (a PCG employee) introduce someone to PCG for the purpose of employing them. The person must be very well known to you from a work-place setting or as a friend or family member. Someone you can vouch for. (Please take into account that decisions on family members or partners will be treated on a case-by-case basis depending on work-based circumstances.) This will always be treated sensitively.
What isn’t a referral?
- Hearsay; you heard of someone and have introduced them to us.
- You found a CV that looks good; it’s not a referral but thanks so much for your efforts.
- An internal recommendation; you recommend a current employee for a role or promotion.
- You give a name; you’ve heard they’re a high performer in another relevant business.
Who’s eligible?
Any employee of PCG other than:
- Directors; they aren’t eligible as they already have a responsibility to help the business grow.
- A hiring manager recruiting for their own vacancy; this is just recruitment.
- A member of the recruitment team; as this is our purpose.
How much is the referral fee?
We’ll pay from £300 per referral depending on the role. You’ll receive your payment the month following the referral’s successful completion of their 6 month probation period.
Payments are subject to normal statutory deductions such as tax and national insurance or anything specific to your individual circumstance.
What if I’ve referred someone but I’ve left PCG?
If you leave the company, we’re not able to pay a fee once you’ve had your last salary payment.
