We are a specialist care provider dedicated to empowering young people with complex needs and challenging behaviours, often shaped by the profound impact of severe trauma. Through collaboration with local authorities and key stakeholders, we deliver tailored, compassionate care that prioritizes respect, opportunity, and meaningful support – helping children reclaim the experiences they may have missed.

To ensure compliance standards are upheld across all of our placements and that key compliance and safety initiatives are effectively implemented, we are now looking for a new Compliance Co-ordinator to join our team.

Please note, although these roles are advertised in specific areas, you will be expected to travel anywhere in the North East and attend our Sunderland office.

As part of our compliance team within the North East region, you will:

  • Support the implementation of compliance policies, ensuring alignment with statutory and regulatory requirements
  • Conduct internal audits and inspections to monitor compliance with health and safety, safeguarding, and data protection regulations
  • Conduct workplace safety checks, risk assessment and accident investigations in the North East region
  • Ensure safeguarding policies and procedures are effectively implemented across all North East placements
  • Act as first point of contact for compliance and health and safety queries in the North East region
  • Provide guidance, support and training regarding compliance, health and safety and online systems to our teams

Requirements

  • Experience in compliance, health and safety or risk management within a regulated sector is desirable
  • Experience conducting audits, inspections and risk assessments
  • Strong attention to detail and investigatory skills
  • Excellent administration, organisational and problem solving skills
  • Must have passed 6 month probationary period (for internal applicants only)
