WHO WE CAN HELP

When other options fail, Protective Care Group will be there.

What we offer

We specialise in offering young people with complex needs and challenging behaviours solo placements on a 2:1 or 3:1 ratio. We offer planned transition care options as well as rapid response crisis care.

Our specialism

We believe that all young people have the right to safe and caring environments that encourage them to develop and thrive, so we’ll happily discuss the care of any young person, however, we specialise in supporting young people that:

  • Have multiple ACEs, in particular those causing complex trauma
  • Have experienced multiple placement breakdowns
  • Are transitioning from or at risk being placed in a hospital or secure setting
  • Have multiple complex needs, like ASD, ADHD and Foetal Alcohol Syndrome
  • Exhibit behaviours like extreme aggression, absconding, self-harm, criminalisation and sexualised behaviours

Our approach

We believe young people should not be defined by their experiences, how many of their placements have broken down, the complexity of their needs or the behaviours they exhibit, no matter how extreme.

Instead, we see the young person behind it all. The young person who we’ll provide consistent care that’s trauma informed and person centred, delivered by a specialist support team that will not give up on them. No matter what, we’ll be there striving for positive outcomes.
