PROTECTIVE CARE FOR CHILDREN & ADULTS
The Protective Care Group was founded in order to offer bespoke and tailor-made support services to the families of children or adults with severe, complex needs who particularly exhibit challenging behaviour.
We will ensure we have regular reviews with you to maximise our working relationship and to allow you to evaluate and monitor the services we are offering. Some staff members have worked within County Council roles themselves so understand about cost and quality, and all have extensive experience in working within learning disabilities, autism, complex needs, social care and adoption.
All care staff undergo vigorous training in many aspects of care including:

- Care Certification

- Positive Behaviour practices
We have a thorough approach to recruitment and ensure staff have regular supervision and de-briefing sessions so they feel fully supported and part of the team at all times.

Our Carers
Our carers are employed to work with each person for as long as necessary, unlike many care providers who swap and change staff regularly, this allows a bond and trust to form which is a vital element in the support process and a significant factor in seeing a reduction in challenging behaviour. Our carers are also highly skilled and adept at dealing with all types of behaviours which again is crucial when dealing with complex clients.
We can offer short term carers for children or adults with complex needs, but specialise in longer-term work involving children with challenging behaviour where intervention is sometimes necessary to keep the child, family and community safe.
We provide excellent services and value for money whilst also reducing the strain on other services such as mental health support for parents.

Our carers come from many different backgrounds but one thing they have in common is their passion and commitment. In addition they are all skilled in working with people with complex needs. As a team they truly care and will work with the child or adult to form a strong and trusted bond.
Each carer undergoes a rigid induction process and will receive extensive training in all areas of health & care as well as having regular supervision. Our clients and stakeholders will also receive regular reports and we are always on-hand if there is a problem or situation you need to discuss with us. We have a 24/7 on-call rota.
We offer our services Country-wide as our specialist carers are located throughout the UK and will travel to any location.
